Youtube has become a bank for technology related content for users from all parts of the world. This is an end result of the consistency of many youtubers who have given their time to creating relevant content in tech, following trends and innovation in the industry, and therfore, these content creators have carried the responsibility of driving innovation through the propagation of tech information and education to the general public while leveraging on youtube as a medium.

The year 2023 has ended with a long list of tech content creators who have contributed to the wealth bank of tech contents on youtube with many still making their debut videos on the platform daily, it’s quite impossible to enlist all of them so in no particular order, we will be highlighting some the top tech youtubers in 2024.

 

1. Linus Sebastian (Linus Tech Tips):

The convener of Linus Tech Tips LTT posted his first youtube video on November 24 2008 and has since then has gathered over 15.4 million subscribers and over 7 billion views on the platform. Before venturing into youtube video publishing, Linus Sebastian was a technology presenter for the defunct NCIX computer retailer. The canadian born youtuber is the founder of Linux Media Group LMG and is currently the Chief Vision Officer after stepping down as Chief Executive Officer of LMG in July 2023.

2. Lewis Hilsenteger (Unbox Therapy): 

Canadian Lewis George Hilsenteger runs the Unbox therapy youtube channel with over 21 million subscribers and over 4 billion views on youtube, Unbox therapy sits well among the top tech youtube channels in 2024. Lewis Hisenteger had his debut on youtube in December 2010 doing reviews on new tech products, hence, the name, “Unbox Therapy”. Hilsenteger is popular for his 2010 video launching the Apple Bendgate controversy about the bendability of the Apple iPhone 6 plus.

3. Marquees Brownlee (Mkbhd): 

Marques Brownlee started publishing videos on youtube in the year 2008 posting videos of reviews of products and devices he owned. The American youtuber who is also a professional ultimate Frisbee player has gathered over 20 million subscribers and over 3.9 billion views on youtube. In November 2013, MKBHD as he is professionally known, released one of his most successful videos carrying out a scratch test to show the self healing ability of the LG G Flex phone. The video amassed over a million views in less than 2 hours and has since gathered over 8 million views. MKBHD is popular for his tech reviews and podcast interviews called Waveform

4. Justine Ezarik (Ijustine): 

As her name implies, iJustine creates youtube videos reviewing Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad, and Macbooks. Justine Ezarik has gathered over 1 billion views on her JustinTV channel which has over 7 million subscribers. Justine Ezarik is not limited to only tech reviews, she has also gained recognition as one of the most popular lifecasters on the platform.

5. Quinn Nelson (Snazzy Labs):

Quinn Nelson started Snazzy Labs back in 2008 and celebrated 15 years posting videos on youtube in the first week of Dec 2023. Snazzy Labs has over 1.14million subscribers with over 1k videos uploaded on the platform. Snazzy Labs prides themselves with giving the most honest consumer tech reviews over the years. A wide spectrum of Snazzy Labs videos talks about Apple products  but Snazzy Labs covers many other aspects of tech including Tesla, House Utility gadgets, Servers, and other accessory devices.

6. Peace Itimi 

Peace Itimi is a youtuber, a digital and growth marketing expert with several years of experience and over 36k YouTube subscribers. She is deeply passionate about developing human capacity, and more specifically focusing on empowering young individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to seize employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Peace recently co-founded Kuwaza Africa, a non-profit organisation that focuses on developing the next generation of African changemakers through training, mentorship, and community development.She has been nominated for various awards which includes The Future Awards Africa For Media and in March 2020, she was shortlisted as a finalist for the Young African Leaders Initiative Mandela Washington Fellowship.

7. Kapil Jindal & Devinder Maheshwari (Beebom): 

This is a tech focused youtube channel formerly named Bee Technika which was founded by two friends in 2011 and was renamed Beebom in 2013. Beebom was created to help people make better decisions when it comes to gadgets, especially smartphones. The tech youtube channel called Beebom is not limited to making just reviews about tech products but also creates how-to tutorial videos, tech hacks, software resources and digital tips. Beebon has gathered 3.12 million subscribers and has over 1 million views on the platform.

8. Gaurav Chaudhary (Technical Guruji):

The Indian born Dubai based Youtuber is one of India’s foremost tech content youtubers with 23.3million subscribers and over 5k uploaded videos on the platform. Gaurav started the youtube channel named technical Guruji in October 2015 focusing on tech review videos in his native dialect, Hindi. He started by giving opinions about products and with time, he started to gain recognition and in 2028, Technical Guruji was ranked the 9th most subscribed to tech youtube channel. 

Gaurav has also gained many other recognition including being listed among the Forbes India 30 under 30 in 2020, and also appearing on the Youtube Rewind in 2018 and 2019.

9. Fisayo Fosudo

Fisayo Fosudo refers to himself as a visual storyteller,finance and tech reviewer.He is a filmmaker and youtuber that first gained recognition for his tech reviews videos and has over 600k subscribers. Over time he has amassed millions of views reviewing various tech products,devices and applications and he is quite an authority.

.Fisayo received the “Tech Influencer of the Year” title at the 2021 Techpoint Awards for his contribution to the Nigerian tech ecosystem. Additionally, The 2022 YouTube Black Voices Creator class selected him as one of 26 Africans to recieve the an award.

10. Arun Maini (Mrwhosetheboss): 

Arun is a British Youtuber with over 24  million subscribers and 4.68 billion views. When he was 14, his brother gifted him a ZTE Blade which he made a video about. The video gained unexpected popularity which set the pace for his youtube channel. The youtube page MrwhosetheBoss focuses on tech reviews ranging from phones, laptops and other accessories and has expanded to making reviews and giving opinions on cars and other household devices such as vacuum cleaners.

Arun Maini has won stream awards in the technology category in 2021  and 2022.
